ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Wednesday 11th April 2018
The Annual General Meeting of The Sudbury History Society will take place
at 10.00 on the above date at The Scout’s Headquarters in Quay Lane
At our meeting on 14th March, our chairman Barry Wall gave a talk about the transportation of bodies of famous people in years gone past, and shared a theory about the whereabouts of the remains of King Edmund.
The next meeting, on Wednesday 11th April, will be the AGM.
At our meeting on 14th February, our chairman Barry Wall spoke about the Saxon and Norman core of our town and showed photos and maps to clarify the details.
After the coffee break, Denis Brogan gave an illustrated talk entitled “Sudbury – Another Way”, focusing on our traffic problems and drawing interesting comparisons with Venice.
